Mr. Bender has conducted numerous searches on the "client side" in the areas of Marketing / Product Management, Consumer Promotion / Shopper Marketing, Digital Marketing, Consumer Relationship/Direct Marketing , Consumer/Sales Insights, Advertising/Public Relations, Sales/Field Marketing and General Management for diverse Consumer Products and Business to Business companies.

Prior to forming Bender Executive Search, Mr. Bender was the leading producer for seven years at Wolman Associations, a generalist boutique search firm. There he acquired his own assignments and began to build the long-term client relationships and successful track records which became the foundation for his leaving to start his own firm in 1996. Earlier, he had been the Vice President in charge of Packaged Goods practice for Richards Consultants, which was one of the country's top ten search companies at that time..

His hands-on marketing knowledge and client service expertise  emanate from working in brand management at Colgate Palmolive, and in account management  at leading advertising agencies (Grey, McCann-Erickson, William Esty) servicing major packaged goods clients (Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Chesebrough-Pond's, American Home Products, Colgate=Palmolive). His marketing involvement included launching new products, revitalization of troubled brands and generating growth of leadership franchises.


He has also completed myriads of assignments on the "agency/consulting" side in the areas of Account Management, Strategic Promotion Planning, New Business Development, Marketing Consulting, Branding, Digital Marketing, Creative and General Management.
